The York Unlocked Festival is back in 2023 for its second year. A chance to visit some amazing historical buildings that are not usually open to the public. At Jackson House / PICA Studios at 7a Grape Lane you can find out about the printing history (dating back to 1703) as well as see how over 20 artists now use the downstairs rooms. In addition, upstairs, you have the chance to see some old Victorian printing presses and learn about the processes involved!
Over the past few years I have been developing my interest in printing, so will have work on display using monoprint, linocut and collagraph techniques.
